Getting to Forestville from Sydney City NSW Australia.
Driving from the city:
Follow the signs to the Sydney Harbour Bridge. Once on the Harbour Bridge stay in lane 3 until you reach the Brook St exit. Take this exit and stay in the right hand lane and turn right at the traffic lights at the end of the exit into Brook St. Follow Brook St till its end and then turn right into Edinburgh Rd. Proceed 200 metres until you reach a large intersection with traffic lights, turn left at the lights into Eastern Valley Way. Follow Eastern Valley Way for about 2.5km - this section of road is heavily policed and has red light cameras. At the end of Eastern Valley Way is a large T-junction with traffic lights, turn right at these lights and look for signs directing you to Frenchs Forest or Dee Why and take this road (Warringah Road). You will cross a large bridge and then come to a large intersection, pass through this intersection and turn left at the next set of lights into Brown St. Proceed down Brown St and turn into the fourth street on the right, which is Keldie St. Jan's Bed and Breakfast is at number 49, about 120 metres on the left.
Public Transport:
If you have heavy luggage it would be easiest to take a taxi. A taxi from the Sydney airport costs approximately $45.00 on Mobile: 0414 351 399.
Otherwise, take a train to Sydney Town Hall station and then take bus 270 (Forest Coaches) from the Queen Victoria Building, which is next to the Sydney Town Hall. Alternatively take the train to Chatswood station and then catch bus 271, 278, 280, 283, 284, or 285 (Forest Coaches). In both cases you need to get off the bus at Brown St. Walk down Brown St and turn into the fourth street on the right - Keldie St. We are at number 49, about 120 metres on the left.
